hoffa. one of the persistent questions. why is this shed and driveway? >> the f.b.i. has this case. of course, they have been searching for years for jimmy hoffa's body. it came up where somebody complained they saw or know of a body that was buried at that location. he gave a couple of names that were tied in with jimmy hoffa at the time when he disappeared. that was the reason for the search. either they had to search for a body or jimmy hoffa's body. that is the reason for this. >> heather: this location it's about 30 miles west of where he was last seen. you mentioned those names. they are associated with the house itself? >> i think they are. one of them -- i'm not sure if they are relatives or not. the person who made that allegation the f.b.i., i think those names were connected in some way. one of those names are probably the prime suspect of disappearance of jimmy hoffa. >> heather: what are investigators looking for in these soil samples. what do they hope to find? >> anything they can find. any kind of bone, body, dna anything to prove there is a body there. does the f.b

children on board heading south. last night around 7:30, u.s. coastguard, police and even the fbi were involved in the search and were able to locate the boat off the coast near monterrey. authorities say they had to approach maffei very carefully because they weren't sure how the father would react. >> we asked him -- we wanted to provide him with water and a radio so that we could, so that we could have a conversation with him. and at that point, he said that he was willing to help us in any way that he could and we asked if we could put a boarding team on board. and he said that would be fine. >> reporter: at that point, police were able to board the boat and rescue the two children. coastguard commander don montoro says maffei was cooperative and did not resist arrest. no one was hurt in the rescue operation. maffei was taken into custody, where he could face kidnapping and theft charges. back here live at the bay, we don't know at what point the boat involved in the kidnapping will be brought back here and returned to the owner. we're told it is still in monterrey at the coastguar
